A friend of mine made what is, in my opinion, a valid point today. Have you ever sort of mentally evaluated the whole idea of one night stands in your mind? Or more specifically, the reason why they're not two week stands?

Well, it led to me thinking... sex obviously creates emotions, right? What I got to wondering about, though, is is it possible to truly have a long-term relationship that is purely physical from the start without one party developing feelings for the other?

Moreover, I've thought about it. The only people I'd be willing to have one night stands with, would be people I'd be willing to engage in a relationship with. I guess the stands would only happen because I'd never see them again, and it'd be a way of expressing my feelings for them. Kinda sad, really.

On the other end of it all though, I guess you must end up with people that don't want to feel anything at all, which is pretty sad.



Anyway, the latest on the chick that wants my beef: She messaged me once today. I replied, asked a couple of questions about her day, and how she was doing, and didn't get a reply. I can't believe she hasn't lost interest yet.

To end off this blog, I'll leave you with what is possibly the most ridiculous statement I've heard in I don't know how long: "Perhaps women have a greater need for intimacy while men are at it (sex) for purely physical reasons...."
